Karnataka Wildlife and Heritage Tour

Duration : 15 Days / 14 Nights.
Destination : Bangalore – Mysore – Nagerhole – Hassan – Hospet – Badami - Dandeli - Goa.

Day 01: Arrive Bangalore
On your arrival in Bangalore airport our tour executive will receive and assist you in transferring you to the hotel in the Karnataka Tour Packages.

Day 02: Bangalore-Mysore, 128 km
Wildlife and Heritage Tour of Karnataka and The second day of the Karnataka Wildlife and Heritage takes off with a drive to Mysore. We visit the former capital of Tipu Sultan, Srirangapatna en-route.

Day 03: Mysore
Wildlife and Heritage Tour of Karnataka and the morning of the third day will be primarily devoted to the sightseeing around the Mysore city. In the afternoon we visit the Somnathpur Temple. .
The star-shaped Somnathpur Temple is a brilliant example of the Hoysala architecture which is adorned with exquisitely sculpted friezes and panels.

Day 04: Mysore-Nagerhole, 80 km
Wildlife and Heritage Tour of Karnataka - On the fourth day we are off to the Nagerhole forest. Though the Nagerhole forest has become considerably dry, yet the huge Kabini reservoir is a haven for the animals who take asylum in this forest. In the afternoon we will undertake a jungle safari in the Karnataka Tour Packages.

Day 05: Nagerhole
Wildlife and Heritage Tour of Karnataka and the jungle jaunt continues even on the fifth day. The jungle activities include safari, nature walk, boating Camp fire dinner and all these are wrapped up with a film show.

Day 06: Nagerhole-Hassan, 145 km
On the sixth day of the Karnataka Wildlife and Heritage Tour we are off to Hassan. In the afternoon we have scheduled a visit to Belur and Halebid temples. The Chennakesava temple dedicated to the Lord Vishnu is a major highlight of Belur. Halebid was a wealthy capital of the Hoysala kingdom. It is dotted with many strikingly beautiful Hoysala temples and Jain shrines.

Day 07: Hassan-Hospet, 325 km
We drive to Hospet. On your arrival at Hospet you are required to check into the hotel in the Karnataka Tour Packages.

Day 08: Hospet
On the eighth day we get to a place where history lies dormant. We visit Hampi where you are able to see the ruins of the Vijayanagar Empire in the Karnataka Tour Packages.

Day 09: Hospet-Badami, 175 km
In the afternoon we visit the Badami Caves. The former capital of the Chalukyas, Badami is famous for its exquisite rock cut cave temples. There are four cave temples that are scooped out of the hill opposite the Badami Fort.

Day 10: Badami
On the tenth day we visit the Patadkal & Aiohle Temples

Day 11: Badami-Dandeli, 230 km
We drive to the Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary that earns the distinction of being the largest wildlife sanctuary in Karnataka that provides safe haven for some of the rare animals and birds. The richness and diversity of the flora and fauna are sure to impress and enthrall you. We will undertake a jungle safari in the afternoon in the Karnataka Tour Packages.

Day 12: Dandeli
It's difficult to cover the entire jungle in a single day. So the morning and afternoon of the twelfth day are also devoted to jungle safari.

Day 13: Dandeli-Goa, 125 km
We set off to Goa and on arriving in this enchanting beach destination, check into the hotel.

Day 14: Goa
The fourteenth day is allocated for you spend at leisure in the Karnataka Tour Packages.

Day 15: Goa-Mumbai-Departure
It's time to wrap up the Karnataka Wildlife and Heritage Tours. We assist you in transferring you to the airport to catch the flight to Mumbai.
